10187 Volkswagen Beetle is a Sculpture released in 2008. It contains 1626 pieces. The Beetle was Volkswagen's first production car and was hugely successful, launched in 1938 and staying in production until 2003, with over 21 million units sold. It is highly prized among classic car collectors.

It was based on the 1960 Charlotte model of the Volkswagen Beetle. Chosen after LEGO fans were polled on a choice of four potential car models, it features opening doors, a hood concealing a spare tire, and a trunk containing the engine.
The detailed interior includes a moveable stick shaft, working glove compartment and folding seats. It measures 16" (41 cm) long and 6 ½" (16 cm) high.
