6907 Sonic Stinger is an Insectoids set released in 1998.
Description[edit | edit source]
The Sonic Stinger is a mid-sized Insectoids air vehicle. It is the smallest vehicle to include the Insectoids light-and-sound brick. It has a definitive insect shape. The head of the Sonic Stinger has two eyes and two antennae/lasers. There is a printed control panel on either side of the pilot. Behind this, there is a wing on either side, as well as two legs on either side. Each wing has a two lasers on it. In the center of the Stinger there is a large laser assembly with a power brick on top. Behind this is the light-and-sound brick, forming the abdomen of the Sonic Stinger, with three thrusters and an antenna behind it.
