Alan Grant is a playable character in who first appeared in LEGO Jurassic World. He was later released as a physical minifigure in 2018.

Background[edit | edit source]

Alan Grant is a globally-recognized paleontologist whom specializes in the velociraptor. After being offered the chance to inspect John Hammond's Jurassic Park, he and his assistant Ellie Sattler traveled to Isla Nublar, along with a few others. While on the attraction's tour, the power is turned off, leaving himself and the owner's grandchildren to avoid the escaped T-Rex. Venturing through the island's dinosaur paddocks, the trio return to the park's main headquarters, where they meet up with the surviving guests. But, when faced with three vicious Velociraptors, the T-Rex fends off the dinosaurs, allowing the humans to escape the island.
