The Alien Buggoid is a Galaxy Squad minifigure released in 2012.
Description[edit | edit source]
It has armour-like exoskeleton printing on its front with dark red detailing on both variations. Its head features a tapering "tail" and four large compound eyes and four small teeth. Along with more Dark Red detailing along the head also. The back neck features an almost accordion style texturing with each level going to the torso's back. The alien often comes including a "flat silver" coloured ray gun piece with a translucent pink 1x1 round stud. While with the red one, it is a reversed color of the green one.
Background[edit | edit source]
This alien is known to fight against the Galaxy Squad. A curious aspect about it is that the buggoid seems to only be a sort of pilot, as it is never shown as infantry like the Alien Mosquitoid. This indicates that it may be smarter or of a higher intellect than most other aliens. The red variant seems to be a sort of "elite" subspecie or rank, as it carries a more advanced sonic gun instead of a standard laser gun and is red as opposed to olive green.
