The Anubis Guard is a Pharaoh's Quest minifigure released in January 2011. The Anubis Guards are the most powerful of Amset-Ra's Warriors.
Description[edit | edit source]
The Anubis Guard has a black and gold headpiece. It has black ears sticking up, with gold lining. It's eyes are red with gold accents, and it has a black nose. It's torso is mainly black, with a black chest with muscle outlines. It has a gold necklace printing, and black arms and black hands. The legs are black, with a gold belt printed on the hips. In the middle of the belt, instead of a buckle there is a printed gold eye. A blue loincloth and a gold scarf hanging from the belt are also printed.
Background[edit | edit source]
The Anubis Guards were skilled warriors reanimated by the pharaoh Amset-Ra to do his bidding.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- In the Pharaoh's Quest online game, Curse of the Pharaoh, the Anubis Guards have two swords instead of one sword and a scarab shield.
- An Anubis Guard also appeared in LEGO Battles: Ninjago as a Pharaoh's second form.
LEGO.com Description[edit | edit source]
This is a description taken from LEGO.com. Please do not modify it. (visit this item's product page) The elite warriors of the Pharaoh’s legions wear masks of the jackal-headed Anubis…or perhaps those are really their heads! Far smarter and stronger than the other mummies who serve Amset-Ra, the Anubis Guards are skilled fighters whose wrappings have been enchanted to make them almost as strong and tough to damage as stone. Whatever you do, don’t underestimate these powerful protectors of the Scorpion Pyramid!
