Bat-Mite is a character from the DC Universe. He appears as a playable character in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

Background[edit | edit source]

When The Joker gains the powers of the reality-altering imp Mr. Mxyzptlk, another imp called Bat-Mite spawns from Joker when Bizarro tries to remove Mxyzptlk's powers. Bat-Mite is the self-proclaimed biggest fan of Batman and uses his own reality-altering powers to place the Dark Knight in dream match-ups and scenarios, often to the exasperation of Batman and his allies.

In the video games[edit | edit source]

Bat-Mite gives the player tips on how to solve puzzles; replacing Alfred's role in the previous two games. During free play, Bat-Mite appears at one point in each level looking for a piece of memorabilia. If the player gives him the souvenir he is looking for, he will give them a character token. After Bat-Mite has collected all of the souvenirs, he is unlocked for play.
