Brickipedia News:Final two LEGO Batman 3 DLC packs announced

November 27, 2014. Last updated November 29, 2014.

The final two of the six DLC packs have been announced for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. Each pack will contain an additional level, and at least two characters. The packs are the Bizarro World League, which will include Bizarro and Bizarra, and Heroines & Villainesses, with Starfire and Raven. Like the other packs, the "Bizarro World League" pack can be bought separately or as part of the season pass, but unlike the other packs, the Heroines & Villainesses pack will be available as a free download.

Update: It seems there might still be at least one more DLC pack to come, since the Heroines & Villianesses pack is free, it doesn't count. Apologies for the confusion. Also, Plastique is confirmed to be a part of the H&V pack, while Greenzarro will be included in the BWL pack. Guy Gardner will also make a DLC appearance.

Thanks to Brick Heroes for the news.

I think the DLCs are an excellent addition. For the prices as well, $15 for all seven(?) of them.

The main cast for Suicide Squad was confirmed last night. I wonder if the DLC will reflect it at all. Captain Boomerang and New 52 Harley are obvious choices either way, but I wonder if at least Enchantress and maybe Rick Flag. and Amanda Waller will be included. Otherwise it's hard to guess. Maybe King Shark and Black Spider?

But the Women pack was not originally one of the six season pass DLCs. It's just an expansion to the game. The sixth DLC is Suicide Squad if I am correct. We still need that New 52 design of Harley in game and we need a New 52 Deadshot. Just something that was missing but obvious due to New 52 Harley being advertised but not used in-game yet.

I thought The Rainbow Pack was the last of the six- since we have images of a couple of the characters.

I don't think the Rainbow Pack counts because it won't be available widely, just for certain people who pre-ordered. Batman Beyond probably doesn't either, in that case.

Darkseid, Vixen, and Terra are confirmed for various DLC. We also have an image of Roy Harper now.

On the subject of the last DLC pack, someone was going through the game files earlier and said that they saw stuff about the Bizarro pack (which we now have confirmed; he said Darkseid and Guy Gardner would also be available by it) and a Suicide Squad one with Captain Boomerang.

In other related news, an image of Slade Wilson has been posted for the Arrow DLC. Did not expect to see a pre-Deathstroke Slade, let alone a two-eyed Slade.

Guy Gardner will also be in the Bizarro pack, I guess because it is a tie-in for the movie.

That's a Nintendo game though. Only Nintendo care about the WiiU enough to do such things.

I did say "pretty much"- I know there are a few DLC things (MarioKart, Mewtwo for SSB4), but it misses out on most.

So wait... let me see if I can get this straight... Starfire and Raven aren't in the game by default??? They give us Conan O'Brien, but they don't have Starfire and Raven??? Ok, I thought not having White Tiger in Marvel was slightly bad, but this waaaay worse. I was actually expecting a whole mechanic to be based around Raven's dark magic in this game, yet she's not even a real character.

(As you may have guessed, I still haven't gotten around to playing the game yet)

Conan actually isn't playable, but it is still pretty stupid that characters like Cheshire and Ultra-Humanite made the cut while they didn't. :P

I wonder what other characters will come in the heroines and villainesses pack. Killer Frost seems like a good bet, and maybe Vixen. That's a strange choice for DLC though.

They needed Conan so he'd give them advertisement on his show...

Yeah, I was expecting a Flash pack (or maybe a combo pack with the Flash/Constantine/Gotham), something that wouldn't be a part of the main game because it's perhaps slightly more mature. I guess it's good that the H&V pack is free, but that still doesn't get Starfire and Raven onto my WiiU :/ I was going to buy the 360 version when it got cheap simply for the Arrow pack anyway, but still...

The Conan demographic correlates (I assume) with those who like comics/super heroes, presumably 18-30. These are likely to not know about the game, not see adverts on Kids TV yet drop money on it at launch, because I assume they have high disposable income.

That makes some sense I guess, but the game does seem loaded with celebrities. Kevin Smith is the one who really bothers me though. :P

Free DLC with Raven and Starfire? Lovely, except for people with the Wii U I guess. :P
