Do you like news? What about a list of short sentences pretending to be news? If you answered yes to the latter, you'll love this!

The Hobbit DLC.jpg
  • DLC! - Remember how you are going to have to pay for 1/3rd of the levels in LEGO The Hobbit? Well to prepare you for that, you can buy some character packs like "Dwarf Merchant Lady", or accessories like "Dwarf-kings wig". Brickfanatics
  • Chinese factory and Danish royalty news - For fans of Chinese factories and Danish royalty, this is the big one! The Queen attended a ceremony for a new factory they are building over in Jiaxing. Brickfanatics
  • Boston news - Are you a Bostonian*? If so, is that the right word? Also, you'll find a Discovery Center opening on your very doorstep. Well, perhaps not your doorstep, unless you are homeless, but at least in your area. It opens May 23. Boston Globe
  • Corporate promotion of the week - Ben Saunders, polar explorer, is "brand ambassador" for Arctic. If I find out what that means I'll let you know. Brickfanatics
  • Financial news - In the first 18 weeks of the year Merlin made almost 12% more than last years first 18 weeks. This is attributed to both The LEGO Movie and that it wasn't as depressingly cold and wet in Britain as it usually is in April. London South East
  • "I could explain it but I don't understand why it is happening" story of the week - Homebase + Chrysanthemums + survey + LEGO = RHS Chelsea Flower Show? ToyNews
  • Free Stuff - Do you live in the catchment area of an Argos in the North West or South East of England? If so, you may get a Friends sample through your door soon. Of course, this isn't out of the kindness of the companies hearts, but is an attempt to get you to go buy some actual sets, you freeloaders. ToyNews
  • Likely future licenses news - Batman's favourite colour is still black, while the Harry Potter spin-off trilogy Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, following fan favourite Newt Scamander, is to start in November 2016. BBC Independent

Edit - * Here I mean Boston, Massachusetts and not the Boston's found in Lincolnshire, Belize, Ontario, British Columbia, County Clare, County Laois, Kyrgyzstan, the Marshall Islands, the Philippines, South Africa, Suriname, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas or Virginia. Sorry if you live in any of those towns and got excited.

It could be the way he's standing in combination with the ears. I think I'd need to see it in colour to really judge it. Either way, it probably means a new cowl piece, which might be useful for some things (not sure what yet).

And they should definitely do a fluoro pink Batsuit one day.

Wow, that's a lot of DLC for the Hobbit. Personally I'm not getting the game until I find out how they're going to handle the third movie. But doing it as a DLC does sound possible, maybe in accompaniment with a re-release of a version with all three movies? And thanks for clarifying that with Boston, I wasn't sure what Boston you were talking about :P (and anyone else think that's the worst Batman suit ever? Although, I guess that does complement Superman's MoS suit)

I think the third movie as DLC was confirmed.

(And even if you don't like the suit, I'm surprised that you say that. :P I like it, myself, though it isn't as "mind-blowing" as it was hyped. The batmobile, on the other hand, I don't like.)

I knew the Batman and Robin suits were going to be referenced :D I think what really turns me off is the stubby ears. Oh, that's good to hear about it being DLC then, I might go and buy the game now go and buy the second movie on DVD then buy the game :P

Seriously - to me it just looks like any old Batman suit :P Its black and batman-y. Let me know when its pink, or when he has a bat shaped hole cut out in the middle, or a new hair cut or something, then I'll have comments on the Batsuit :P

@Nova: So you do prefer the Batman and Robin suits? :P The ears don't bother me. They always sort of looked weird long in live action to me.

@CJC: Probably because it's gray and less armored/rubbery than usual? Not exactly pink or as interesting as a new haircut, and I am a little confused why some people are so passionate about what Batman will wear when it changes every week, but it is something new. :P
