Kyle Rayner is a DC Universe character first introduced in 1994 as the new Green Lantern. He is a graphic artist from Los Angeles who, following the ruination of the Green Lantern Corps, was given the last Green Power Ring by the last surviving Guardian of the Universe not for the inability to feel fear like the fallen Lanterns, but because he could feel fear and still overcome it. Kyle was mentored by the Justice League and managed to keep the Green Lantern legacy alive until the Corps was restored. He has since mastered all seven lights of the Emotional Spectrum (Will, Hope, Compassion, Love, Fear, Avarice, and Rage) and become the first permanent White Lantern.

Designer's notes

Kyle is usually drawn with lighter skin, but the reference photo I used for the Dark Age variant had a darker complexion, so I decided to go with that, and have kept using the darker tone for consistency's sake.
