The Fat Lady is a portrait who guards the entrance to Gryffindor Tower at Hogwarts. The printed piece depicting the Fat Lady is Part:40249px2[1].
Background[edit | edit source]
The Fat Lady is the resident of one of Hogwarts Castle's animated portraits. She guards the entrance to Gryffindor Tower, demanding a password that is known only to members of Gryffindor House.
During Harry Potter's third year at Hogwarts, the Fat Lady is attacked by Sirius Black and has her portrait slashed. After some time away, it is restored by Argus Filch.
Description[edit | edit source]
She has appeared in two sets as a portrait on a revolving door piece: 4709 Hogwarts Castle in light grey and 4722 Gryffindor House in light bluish violet. In 4757 Hogwarts Castle, the Fat Lady's backdrop appears, but she is absent and the portrait is slashed because of Black's attack.
In the video games[edit | edit source]
The Fat Lady also appears in LEGO Creator: Harry Potter, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 where she plays her canon role of guarding Gryffindor Tower. The Creator game depicts her as her yellow in-set appearance, while the Traveler's Tales games depict her as an animation overlay of a minifigure on a portrait. The Fat Lady is only playable in Years 5-7.
