Background[edit | edit source]
Leonidas is a member of the Lion Tribe and serves as a guard for their city.
On the night that Cragger plugged an orb of CHI before his age of becoming, Leonidas stood on guard as Lagravis and Crominus argued over whose fault it was. He was then ordered to guard the grounded Laval with Longtooth, though when Cragger attempted to sneak into the Lion City a second time, they were waiting in the throne room. Longtooth and Leonidas attempted to restrain him, but were knocked over by the Prince as he fled. Soon after, Cragger sent up a croc flare and Leonidas headed to The Fangs with the other Lions where they battled the Crocodiles.
Leonidas attended Laval's coming of age ceremony a few days later, which was interrupted by Cragger's attack on the Lion City. Leonidas hurried to one of the guard towers, but was grabbed by a Raven Glider and deposited in a tree away from the City. ("The Legend of Chima")
Leonidas was on guard duty at the gate of the Lion City during the first CHI distribution following the battle. He later accompanied Eris to help save Laval from the Crocodiles. ("The Warrior Within")
Shortly into the civil war, Leonidas and Longtooth accompanied Lagravis to the Rhino Quarry where they hoped to sign a peace treaty. While there, the trio was interrupted by the distress roar and they raced back towards the City, only to find the Wolves waiting in ambush. ("The Joy Ride")
Leonidas and Longtooth were in charge of guarding the Golden CHI orb at the next CHI-day race. However, when Laval failed to show up, Lagravis ordered the two to search for his son. While they were gone, the Ravens stole the unguarded orb. ("Market Day")
On the eve of the hundred year moon, Leonidas found Skinnet prancing outside the Lion City and urged him to get inside. The skunk explained that the moon would benefit skunks due to an old legend, but Leonidas advised him to stay inside nevertheless. ("The Hundred Year Moon")
When the eight heroes returned from the Outlands with the Legend Beasts, Leonidas was part of the crowd that gathered to welcome them home. ("This May Sting a Bit")
Following the return of the Hunters, Leonidas accompanied the rest of the Lions to face off against this new threat. He was frozen shorty into battle however, but was soon rescued by the Gorillas and taken back to the Lion City where he was thawed out. ("Attack of the Ice Clan")
Leonidas was guarding the City steps while Longtooth helped Lagravis try to find his funny-bone. Longtooth was about to assign Leonidas to tickle their king when they were interrupted to by the take off of the Blazing Bastion atop Mount Cavora. ("The Crescent")
Leonidas was on guard duty when Laval gave a tour of the city to Li'ella and was unfortunate enough to be stationed exactly outside the Prince's window when he threw his toys out. He reported the incident to Longtooth and asked for the rest of the day off, but was denied and sent back to his post. ("The Snowball Effect")
On the day after Lagravis' capture, Laval sent Lennox and Leonidas to seal the cave that the Hunter's used to sneak in. He later helped defended the city from their massive assault. ("The King Thing")
Following the battle, Leonidas participated in the clean up effort with Lennox and the other guards. When the two at last finished restoring the Lion statues, Eris crashed her jet into them, thus forcing the two Lions to start over. ("A Very Slippery Slope","The Artifact")
In Laval's Journey
Leonidas can be found guarding the Lion Temple at the base of the stairs. He requests Laval to find his sword in exchange for the x4 Stud Multiplier.
LEGO.com Descriptions[edit | edit source]
This is a description taken from LEGO.com. Please do not modify it. Leonidas
Leonidas is a Lion footsoldier and guard. Leonidas is not dumb. He just can't keep more than two ideas in his head at one time. If you give him a command – "Guard the entrance to the Temple" - he will execute it efficiently and without question. However, if you then give him a second command – "Clean your sword at the same time!" – he will get completely confused. He's the kind of guy who actually CAN'T chew gum and walk at the same time. But if you just want him to walk OR chew gum? He will do each of those individual tasks with more gusto than anyone else.
