Background[edit | edit source]
Luke Cage was born to S.H.I.E.L.D. scientists Amanda and Walter Cage. When a transport plane they were on was attacked by the Zodiac, they injected Luke with a version of the super soldier serum, granting him super strength and invulnerability, allowing him to survive the fall from the plane.
Taking on the name Power Man, he fought alongside Iron Fist before joining him as part of S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury's program for young heroes. He was placed on a team led by Spider-Man (originally Deadpool before he left S.H.I.E.L.D. to become a mercenary) and also consisted of Nova and White Tiger. As a member of the team he fought Sandman, Carnage, Venom, Doc Ock, Beetle, Lizard, Rhino, Dr. Doom, Electro, Kraven the Hunter and the Green Goblin.
He was reunited with his parents when Spider-Man helped him break into the Zodiac's base, held hostage there under the threat that they would kill Luke if they didn't assist in the Zodiac's plans.

LEGO.com Biography[edit | edit source]
This is a description taken from LEGO.com. Please do not modify it. (visit this item's product page) Power Man
Luke Cage is a street-smart teenager, the son of two agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. When his family was threatened by the international crime organization called Zodiac, Luke was given a serum developed by his parents. It gave him super-strength and incredibly hard skin that no weapon can penetrate. He later became part of a S.H.I.E.L.D super-team along with Spider-Man. The only problem with super strength is learning how to control it; Luke has broken dozens of video game controllers by accident!
