Here is my review of 30303 The Joker Bumper Car, the first DC set I own that features a Minifgure. (The only other DC set I own is 30161 Batmobile)

This set is a polybag set so comes in the standard transparent plastic bag that polybag sets always do. The front includes an image of The Joker driving the bumper car down a road while the back is just the usual boring barcode, copyrights and choking warnings in many different languages.

The set contains 47 pieces and a small instruction booklet.

Instructions

The instructions are very simple only consisting of nine steps. The first 7 steps are on one side while the remaining two steps and an ad for LEGO Club each take up half of the other side.

Minifigure

Obviously the main selling point of this set is that it’s a cheap way of acquiring a Joker Minifigure and it certainly doesn’t disappoint with the included Minifigure being great! The minifigure is a great representation of The Joker as they’ve depicted his insanity perfectly in the two face prints especially the one with the huge grin. The torso is nicely detailed with it including back printing. I can find no faults with this Minifigure. Oh and he includes a pie accessory because he’s a clown, I guess.

The set

The bulk of the set is the bumper car and it is actually not bad for something from such a cheap set; it’s a nice scale with Minifigures and actually the best thing about it is the wheels which enables the set to slide around quite nicely just as a bumper car should.

Conclusion

This is a pretty great set to pick up if you find it cheap just for The Joker Minifigure as It’s only otherwise available in much more expensive sets. The bumper car’s quite nice too. For what it is this set’s perfect.
