Review:Lixers/Meltus22238
Here is a review on the Mixels Series 5's Lixers, first released in the summer of 2015. Thanks to Brickimedia and LEGO to the sets. Like all of the other Mixels to date, the Lixers cost 4.99 in USD and are sold in small bags.
About the Lixers..[edit | edit source]
The Lixers are a tribe of cheese coloured Mixels who have the greatest tongues in all the land. They Will lick pretty much anything, for it is in their slobbery nature.
Tungster[edit | edit source]
Out of all three Lixers, Tungster is definitely the whackiest. He has a good, yet crazy look to him when fully built up. There is a nice selection of yellow pieces. Like the other Mixels in this tribe he comes with flame yellowish orange parts, although only two appear here, on his feet. Overall, he is a pretty good looking Mixel.
Turg[edit | edit source]
Is Turg a frog? A squid? A mutant? The other Mixels don't know for sure, but whatever he is he's definitely on the weird side. Turg has a very fun build, most of the fun consisting of building his back. The pyramid looking result of the build is a nice touch, and he has the longest tongue of all the Mixels.
Spugg[edit | edit source]
Spugg is definitely the cutest of this batch, as his head and look are just adorable. His head is also on a technic pin, so you can spin it as much as you please. Unlike the past two dog Mixels, Jawg and Glurt, he has all four feet on ball joints, allowing for much more poseability. The only downside for me is that the tail isn't too articulated, but the legs and head make up for that. The tooth pieces in trans orange are very nice.
Overall[edit | edit source]
Build/Design | 4 / 5 |
Playability | 4 / 5 |
Parts | 4 / 5 |
Price | 5 / 5 |
Overall | 5 / 5 |
All in all the Lixers are a very nice bunch. They are also a very crazy bunch, for they are based on tongues after all... I do not have a least favorite of these three, but my most favorite is probably Tungster, just because he is so wacky.
