[List of appearances] |
Daniel Rocka, usually referred to as simply Rocka, is a Hero Factory character who was introduced in 2011. He is the most recent addition to Hero Factory's main cast and has consistently appeared in its sets and media since his first appearance as one of the most prominent characters, alone with William Furno and Preston Stormer. In 2014, Rocka was one of the characters whose design was converted to a minifigure.
Description[edit | edit source]
Rocka's appearance is defined by his gold colour scheme, using gunmetal and black as secondary colours. As an action figure, he has also used either white and silver accents, or transparent bright green. Similarly, as a minifigure he has green eyes.
Like all heroes, he is outfitted with a helmet, armour, and a hero core. His equipment depends on the mission, but he has used claws, blasters, swords, shields, a bow, and a jetpack.
Background[edit | edit source]
Daniel Rocka was a hero built in the Hero Factor Assembly Tower and modeled off William Furno in hopes to replicate his success. Rocka joined Furno and his teammates on the Alpha Team, under command of Preston Stormer, as a rookie. He was also a member of the Hero Recon Team. Rocka first assisted five other Alpha Team members (Stormer, Furno, Dunkan Bulk, Jimi Stringer, and Julius Nex) during the Savage Planet crisis when a villain named Witch Doctor threatened to drain the planet Quatros of Quaza, a powerful natural resource used in the heroes' cores. Rocka was outfitted with equipment themed after lions, which he chose to match his golden colour scheme. Rocka was instrumental in defeating Witch Doctor when he was upgraded to an XL form using equipment he and Furno discovered in a temple. The Witch Doctor and Rocka faced each other in a fight, and the Witch Doctor was defeated when Stormer intervened and broke his staff.
After a mass breakout occurred at the Hero Factory, Rocka stayed behind at the Assembly Tower while every other active hero were sent out individually for Mission Catch 'Em and Cuff 'Em. However, the villainous Black Phantom had also remained behind in hopes of using the unguarded Assembly Tower to increase his power. Rocka faced Phantom alone while a group of heroes who had returned from their own adventures, Stormer, Furno, Nathan Evo, and Mark Surge fought with his aranchix henchmen. Rocka defeated the much more formidable Black Phantom by outsmarting him and instructing Stormer to overload him with the power he craved, which left him in an exhausted state.
When Makuhero City was attacked by parasitic brains corrupting local wildlife, Rocka used a jet-pack to remove the brain controlling the monstrous Dragon Bolt from its control.
Rocka was later one of the reinforcements called by Evo to a mining site in Antropolis City when miners began going missing. Rocka, Stormer, Furno, Surge, Bulk, and Breez arrived just in time to construct mechs before the city came under attack by colossal monsters rising from the ground below. Rocka used a machine that was able to camouflage itself, but it was still destroyed in the battle. When the heroes pushed underground to rescue Furno and Stormer after they were captured by the beasts, Rocka's machine was replaced by a smaller one outfitted for navigating the caverns. However, it was also destroyed in battle by the beasts that inhabited the region. Rocka was rescued by Surge and piloted the airship which could connect to Surge's walker. However, once again, the walker was destroyed. When the heroes reached the beasts' queen, Breez attempted to resolve their situation diplomatically, and almost succeeded, but one of the jumpers accidentally set off a discarded blaster, leading to a scramble to escape. Rocka and his teammates managed to return to the surface, with Stormer, Furno, and the missing miners rescued.

LEGO.com Bio[edit | edit source]
This is a description taken from LEGO.com. Please do not modify it. The newest rookie from Hero Factory’s extensive production facility is Rocka. Engineered with upgraded parts, Rocka includes the very latest technology available. He was modeled after another very successful rookie, Furno, but has a distinctly different outlook from the older rookie.
Like younger Furno, Rocka is impulsive and sure of himself. His first instinct is to dive into a problem immediately, whether or not he’s ready for the challenge. His intelligence and abilities learned in hundreds of training sphere missions keep him out of trouble most of the time, but every once in a while he gets in over his head. Nevertheless, team leader Stormer has high hopes for this particular rookie Hero.
