The Spartan Warrior is a minifigure from 8684 Minifigures Series 2.
Description[edit | edit source]
The Spartan Warrior has a nougat bronze cuirass torso, a leather skirt and sandal printed legs, and a scowling bearded headpiece. His face has a beard and mustache. He has a longer and more detailed spear, a circular shield, a dark red cape, a Spartan helmet, and a black stand. The printed sandals on the bottom of both legs also go around both sides.

- The new spear is more detailed than the original spear from Castle, Prince of Persia, and Knights Kingdom, is more ornate, durable and has a thick rubber tip. This spear also appears with the Tribal Chief from Series 3 and in brown. It also appeared with the Roman Soldier from Series 6 in brown and with the Aztec Warrior from Series 7 in gold.
- His helmet is the same as The Golden King from Atlantis but in a different colour.
- He appeared in LEGO Universe as a vendor under the name "Achilles Plutarch".
- The LEGO Minifigures: Character Encyclopedia mentions Lee Jones' collection of 301 Spartan Warriors for a MOC based on the film 300.

“For Sparta!”
The Spartan Warrior’s favorite thing in the world to do is fight. He keeps his spear, shield and crested helmet polished and clean at all times, just waiting for the next big battle to start. The problem is that there really isn’t much of a call for ancient Spartan soldiers these days, so he mostly sits around and watches historical documentaries on TV.
Since he doesn’t get to do much fighting, the Spartan Warrior tries all sorts of things to keep himself in fighting shape. He goes jogging every morning, swims at the pool in the afternoon, and even takes dancing classes at the nearby school to make sure he stays fit and trim for the next big battle!
