A Zotaxian is an Insectoids minifigure released in 1998.

Zotaxians are the main minifigures of the Insectoids theme. They vary in their appearance; some use blue or have black oxygen tanks. Some wear shoulder armor; others do not.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Only Gypsy Moth has the combination grey-blue-black body color—trans-neon green helmet—grey shoulder armor—female face.
- Two Beta Buzzer-type Zotaxians appear in the video game LEGO Racers hovering by the Alien Rally Asteroid track, in the Beta Buzzer, in the third and sixth circuits as spectators. However, the player can not play as such a Zotaxian.
- Besides Gypsy Moth, two other Zotaxians are named: Danny Longlegs, a grey Zotaxian with a trans green helmet; and Gigabot, a droid. However, the Zotaxians have too many minor variations to correctly identify who is who, besides Gypsy Moth.
- Mistakenly, LEGO called the Zotaxians a part of the Galaxy Squad theme.
