Images of the upcoming ideas set, 21303 WALL•E have been revealed by Smyths, who say it will cost €57.99 and be released in December. The set has a flexible head, hands that can open/close, wheels that can rotate with track. The torso is also openable.

Aside from the yellow (a shade of brown or even orange would have been better) it seems accurate enough to me. Looks good.

The price doesn't. Skip. :P

The thing I don't like about this set (as I said on Brickset) is the fact that it seems they focused more on making it "cute" rather than accurate, which (for me) is a real let-down.

(I am of course referring to the over-sized hands and humongous head).

I enjoyed the film when I first saw it, but I can't bring myself to watch it again, I've tried several times :S But I still really like this set, and I'll definitely consider getting it sometime (I'll probably wait for a sale)

I don't think an ideas set has ever gone on sale

When the movie first came out this was all I wanted, now I can finally have it! $40 U.S. = $60-$70 AUD, I can manage that (unless the admins want to send me a review copy? :P).

Huh, the build turned out quite nice. It's hard to justify spending that much money on it, but it's fun to look at, at least. :P

This is definitely neat, but it's a little late to be releasing a WALL-E set. :P

I wonder will the fact it's out so late hurt the sales

I doubt it, as its not aimed at kids (note 12+). Its like saying the Ghostbusters and BTTF ones were a little late :P
