Meet the Monsters is a Monster Fighters book released on August 20, 2012. It is designed for beginner readers. The first several pages offer a simplified explanation of Lord Vampyre's plot, and single paragraph bios of the various monsters with simple call-outs. Next is a brief description of the Monster Fighters, with a short glossary and index finishing the book off.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- While the Vampyre's Bride is featured, nothing is said of her part in the plot.
- The Zombie Driver minifig appears twice, but is treated as two separate characters, with the Vampyre Hearse Driver being specifically referred to as Renfield.
- The story does note Jack McHammer lost an arm in a previous fight and openly refers to him as Dr. Rodney Rathebone's sidekick.
- Ann Lee, Frank Rock, and Major Quinton Steele are only mentioned at the very end as having later joined the team.
