Brak is a custom LEGO Minifigure designed by Chakor Channing. If Brak were to be an official Minifigure, he would likely be in a Space Ghost or Hanna-Barbera theme.

Design

While Brak is not a physical custom Minifigure, he uses normal Minifigure head, torso, and leg pieces. Brak has his eyes and mouth printed on his normal head piece, but also wears a special head piece that consists of his eyes, the flap he wears behind his head, and his orange-dome like helmet, thus leaving his mouth the only printing exposed and not concealed by his special head piece. This is similar to the animal "helmet" pieces used on the Legends of Chima Minifigures.

Brak has black arms, orange hands, and blue strap printing on the front and back of his torso. His legs are black with blue that runs up to his knee area (to represent his boots) and a blue upper piece that connects to his torso.

Background

Brak was a character appearing in episodes of the 1966 Hanna-Barbera cartoon Space Ghost, including "The Lure", "The Looters" and was a member of the Council of Doom. In the original cartoon, Brak was portrayed as a supervillain space pirate who wanted to conquer the galaxy with his twin brother Sisto.

Brak was later parodied in many cartoons, such as Space Ghost Coast to Coast, where he basically serves as an annoyance to Space Ghost on the show, The Brak Show, an adult-oriented television program, and more recently in Cartoon Planet, a 2012 Cartoon Network show. In all of these latest cartoons, Brak is portrayed as a childish but lovable dimwit.

In an episode of Cartoon Planet, Brak confirmed that he is now a simpleton due to surviving brain damage from flying into a swarm of piranha-mites in "The Lure".
