Part 3065, the 1x2 Missing Stud is a common translucent brick. The brick is basically the same as Part 3004, except there is no stud on the inside. This piece is made in translucent colours. Although this piece is not as strong as Part 3004, it looks more clear than Part 3004 in translucent colours.

The first LEGO 1x2 bricks had no tubes on the bottom. In 1958, LEGO introduced the interlocking tube system[1] and the tubeless bricks were phased out in favour of part 3004. In 1985, the tubeless 1x2 brick began being used again exclusively for translucent bricks as it appears clearer.
