Vector (2)[edit source]

Hey, can you make this image (http://ditbeg8qmun1v.cloudfront.net/img/common/icn_bookmark_c_20.png) a svg type and then resize it to 200 x 200? Thanks, Codyn329 (talk) 14:42, 3 March 2014 (UTC)

Might this work? MtMNC (talk) 02:35, 6 March 2014 (UTC)
Ah, looks very nice! Thank you =) Codyn329 (talk) 02:46, 6 March 2014 (UTC)

Vector (3)[edit source]

Sorry, this is the last request, but can you make a vector of http://images.brickimedia.org/b/be/Icn_view.png at a 200 * 200 pixel scale? Transparent background too. Thanks a bunch, - Codyn329 (talk) 22:40, 11 March 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for changing all of the links from the Bionicle Wikia to BIONICLEsector01. I know it's a tedious task to go through all those pages, but is certainly a helpful contribution! ToaMeiko (talk) 01:44, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
Thanks Meiko! MtMNC (talk) 01:45, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

Refreshed skin[edit source]

Hi, I am running into some troubles when trying to use the Refreshed skin on a new MediaWiki 1.23 installation on a new web host. It is on PHP version 5.4.34 and the skin version is 3.1.0. The CSS for the skin is not loading (I can't see it in Chrome console) and am completely stuck so since I noticed you are a regular contributor on GitHub I decided to message you. I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me if there are any incompatibilities in the PHP, MediaWiki and skin versions I am running. Thanks Lachlan (talk) 18:59, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

Hey Lachlan. Is it an issue with links and the like looking strange, or is everything broken? As of MediaWiki 1.24, skins have to import some basic styles differently--you can read about it here. Refreshed 3 uses the new method to import those styles, which means the skin is broken on 1.23 and below unfortunately. I'm not 100% sure that's the issue here, but if you're able to upgrade to 1.24 (or even better, 1.25) that might solve the issue. I don't think your PHP version should be a problem since we're on 5.3.something and everything works fine. -- MtMNC (talk) 21:02, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for the advice, I've now updated to 1.25 and everything is working better. However I think I've found the source of the issue and it has nothing to do with the MediaWiki and PHP versions I was running. I downloaded the skin from GitHub but it didn't come with Wikifont included (it was just an empty folder) and that appears to have broken all the CSS in the skin. I don't know if this is intended behaviour but it certainly slipped me up - after downloading the wikifont folder the skin now functions correctly. Anyway thanks again Lachlan (talk) 18:29, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
Glad to hear it. And thanks for letting me know about the Wikifont issue--just tested myself and the same thing happened to me. If you use Git to download it instead of downloading a ZIP the WikiFont files show up... must be how the people at GitHub decided to set up ZIP downloads. -- MtMNC (talk) 18:56, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

Re:WikiLove Issues[edit source]

It shows up fine in Vector, which is what I'm using. My problem is just that, after I get past the "Preview" stage and want to submit, it says "Something went wrong when sending the message. Please try again." I know WikiLove used to work, though even back then it had a different issue of adding the code to the talk page twice. Now it doesn't seem to work at all. BrickfilmNut (talk) 20:17, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

Hmm... I'm afraid I don't know how to fix it, but I set up an issue on GitHub: github:400 -- MtMNC (talk) 23:26, 2 July 2015 (UTC)

Re: The Force Awakens spoiler blocker[edit source]

  • Haha, I never thought something like that would exist, thanks for that :) I'll definitely keep that in mind for Rogue One next year, I'm guessing there'll be a similar extension out for it NovaHawk 05:04, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

Important changes for 2016[edit source]

Brickipedia and the Brickimedia Network are undergoing big changes in 2016. Discussions are currently open and need your input at Project:2016 Changes:

  • New hosting – Brickipedia is considering changing servers. Please share your opinion on the matter.
  • Consolidate the sites – Brickimedia Customs and LEGO Stories Wiki have recently merged, but to further optimize the site and the community, it has been proposed to consolidate the sites to simply Brickipedia and the Great Ball Contraption Wiki.
  • Readership and Engagement – Proposal to frequently survey the community and visitors to gather data to continue optimizing the site.
  • Scrap the Admin Wiki – Proposal to give the community more transparency by deleting the private admin wiki for Brickimedia.
  • New subsites – Ideas to expand Brickipedia's project scope by adding new namespaces.

Please voice your opinion and read over the proposals and comments! --ToaMeiko (talk) 02:00, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

Keetongu.png

8755 Keetongu was released as a set in 2005. He included a bright red Rhotuka spinner. A lock on his chest armour allowed one to open his chest cavity and fire a Rhotuka spinner as in the story. His whirling shields could be spun with an axle on his right arm, and their area increased as they spun and decreased when they again became still. The Keetongu set contained 201 pieces which could be combined with the pieces of Roodaka to create The Shadowed One set, with the pieces of Sidorak to create the Sentrakh set, or with the pieces of both Sidorak and Roodaka to create the Voporak set.
