Firestorm is a DC Universe Super Heroes character released in 2018. The set version is based on the Jason Rusch version of the character, who appeared on portable versions of LEGO Batman 3, but the version of Firestorm playable on PC and console versions of that game are based on Ronnie Raymond.
Description[edit | edit source]
His costume is a mixture of yellow and red with a never ending flame on the top of his head.
Background[edit | edit source]
Firestorm is a superhero identity which is created when two people with access to the Firestorm Matrix join together into one body. The original Firestorm was composed of Ronnie Raymond and Dr. Martin Stein. Ronnie would have control over Firestorm while Dr. Stein appeared as a voice in Ronnie's head, advising him on how to use their power of Molecular Restructuring. Firestorm became a member of the Justice League and amassed a rogues gallery of his own, the most notable member being Killer Frost.
After Ronnie's death during a battle with Shadow Thief, the Firestorm Matrix selects Detroit teenager Jason Rusch as its new host. Though Jason's incarnation of Firestorm is only made up of one person initially, he later merges with Ronnie, who has returned from the dead.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Firestorm is identified as Ronnie Raymond in LEGO DC Super Villains, this despite the figure's darker skin tone matching Jason Rusch's appearance.
