On Xandar, Drax helps defeat The Sakaaran, Korath, and destroys Ronan's hammer while he was distracted by Quill. Afterwards, he revealed that Thanos was his next target, his criminal past is expunged and joins Quill, Gamora, Groot, and Rocket to form the Guardians of the Galaxy.
