Spider-Woman is a Marvel Super Heroes character that was first released as a minifigure via the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con in extremely limited quantities. Another version of Spider-Woman based on her Ultimate Marvel counterpart will be released in 2016.
Description[edit | edit source]
Classic Spider-Woman has Elizabeth Swann's hairpiece in black, and her red head is printed with a yellow triangle, white eyes, an area exposing her mouth and a double sided expression: happy and angry.
The Ultimate version wears a red bodysuit which also covers her face and has larger eyes, more similar to Spider-Man. Spider-Woman has a white spider emblem emblazoned across her chest and beginning to wrap her waist. She has her hair brown exposed, and a strand of it falls over her shoulder.
Background[edit | edit source]
Classic[edit | edit source]
Jessica Drew is the daughter of scientists, and gains spider powers as a byproduct of their experiments. She is initially an agent of HYDRA known as Arachne, but later defects to S.H.I.E.L.D. and becomes the heroine Spider-Woman.
Ultimate[edit | edit source]
Spider-Woman is a female clone of Peter Parker created by Doc Ock for the CIA.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Ultimate Spider-Woman uses the same head as Scarlet Spider.
- The "Ultimate" variant appearing in 76057 and in the Spider-Man downloadable content pack of LEGO Marvel's Avengers refers to her as Spider-Girl, however, Spider-Girl has not been known to wear this costume.
